I first rented with Image Exotic Car Rentals a few weeks ago. I currently commute to and from Upstate New York to see my fiancé. It is a 4 hr. drive and I do not own a car as of yet. I was using Action but was dissatisfied with the non-consistency of the rate and their old exotic cars. Image does cost a little more, but I received a great car on time, Spotless which is what I needed. I believe in paying for the good stuff and not settling for cheaper quality.

I work for a production company based in New York, my job in the company is to provide vehicles for movies, television shows, commercials and print advertisements. I have used several companies in New York to get the vehicles required for different projects. When the need is for a Luxury or Exotic Vehicle my first call is always Image Rent A Car. They always go out of there way to make sure the car we need is available for us. We have primarily worked with a wonderful girl over there named Ann who is the location manager. She is always more then helpful with us and if she does not carry the car we need she has always been able to arrange what i do need or get me something similar. On one occasion we needed a certain car for a high profile client to use during filming of one of his recent movies in NYC. Image did not carry the vehicle he wanted so what did they do? They went out and bought the car and got it in the color he wanted with all the options he was asking for. I have to say they are wonderful and have always gone above and beyond when doing there job and helping me with mine

This past Friday on my way to work my car broke down, the shop I was towed to recommended that I call Image Rent A Car in Brooklyn. The mechanic called over to find if a car was available and not only did they have a car for me, they sent someone to pick me up. When i arrived at the there store, they a nice new Nissan for me. I have to say what turned out to be a horrible day for me was made just a little better by the wonderful service I got from the people at Image. Thank you so much and you have earned a customer for life.

On February 9th, it was my sons 12th birthday. He is in love with the Hummer H2, so as a birthday surprise i decided to rent one for the day and take him out in it. The people at Image rent a car were just wonderful. They gave me a great deal when I told them why I was renting it, they delivered it to me at no extra charge, they even had a big red bow on it when my son walked outside to see it. The truck was great, he had a blast riding around in it. As he said, the only things that could have made it better is if I bought one so we could keep it forever or if he could drive it. Neither of those two were going to happen but he still had a lot of fun. We got some nice pictures and he has the biggest smile I have ever seen. I just wonder what car he will be in love with next year, since now we have to top this really soon.

On February 22nd I flew into Newark airport, a rental agent from Image Rent A Car was waiting for us on the curb at passenger pick up with our van. We had reserved a 15 passenger van with one of there portable GPS Tom Tom units. The van looked brand new, was very clean, and the agent waiting for us even helped load our luggage. I have to say this level of service is far and beyond better than any I have ever gotten from any other company. Getting us all onto a shuttle bus with all of our luggage, unloading it all to just re-load into the van we are renting is not something I think would be at all enjoyable. I was very pleased with the tremendously high level of service we received from Image. I just wish the companies at home provided the same level of service

This past Christmas I contacted Image Rent A Car for a Hummer rental as a surprise for my son. I spoke with a very nice woman named Ann, she told me that she did not have one available but told me she would call me back if she could help me. After spending about an hour looking for another company that had a Hummer for rent Ann called me. She had taken the time to find another company that did in fact have one available for me to rent. She even made all the arrangements for the rental, all i had to do was show up at the office and give them my drivers license and credit card. What is more amazing about this is she did all this on a Sunday, from home, on her day off. If this is any sign of the level of excellent customer care they provide from there office I can promise I will be a customer for years to come.

I have been renting vehicles from Image for almost three years now, I recently needed a car on very short notice and were informed that they did not have any available vehicles for me. Ann (the manager) offered to have one of the car detailers drive me to another car rental company not far from them so I could get a car. I ended up renting from the competition and I have to say I really do hope I don't have to do that again. There is something to be said for walking in and having the people working there know my name, say hi with a smile, and just treat me like a friend. I only know the people at image from renting cars there but I really do feel they are wonderful people who do truly car about me and every single other customer they have. I have not once gone in and seen any of the people there not have a smile and greet me with a friendly hello.

It is easy to pay too much for a rental car, but you really don't have to. Part of renting cars economically is knowing how to avoid the scams that drive costs up, like saying "no" to insurance and saying "no" to upgrade offers. The other part of being a frugal traveler is knowing who to do business with. That's where this review comes in because I've rented cars through Image New York Rent A Car and I know that their counter in the airport is the one that can often save me money -- and can save you money too! But of course it's not just about saving money -- you also want a decent car for the money... Cars, Cars, Cars... It's pretty easy to guess what kind of car you're going to get when you reserve with some companies: I usually get GM cars from Avis (especially Grand Ams when reserving "mid-size"), Hertz usually gives you Fords, Thrifty usually goes with Chryslers (they seem to love the Dodge Stratus). It's a bit tougher with other companies. Enterprise is often kind of a grab bag, and like them, Image New York Rent A Car doesn't seem to have a preference when it comes to makes and models. That can be a good thing because they tend to have a wider range of vehicle types than some other companies and I'm a firm believer in the old adage that "variety is the spice of life". I like trying new things all the time, and that goes for driving a lot of different kinds of cars. Customer Service Counts:: I like saving money. No doubt about it. But I still like good service and good cars, and I will not shave a couple bucks off the price if it means giving up on things that are important. Image New York Rent A Car seems to understand that frugal travelers are wise travelers, not just cheapskates. I like that Image New York Rent A Car does everything they can to speed you through both the check in and return process. Overall  |  |  Great !!! I will personally use them again.

Once again we rented from Image Rent A Car and had a very good experience. The facility in New York JFK Airport is conveniently located in the Holiday Inn Hotel Lobby. We recently rented a car from Image Rent A Car and had a very good experience with this car rental company. We rented a compact car that was a non-smoking vehicle which was really nice. The car was brand new with less than 3,000 miles. I don't blame Image Rent A Car for my less than positive thoughts about the Toyota Corolla we got. We chose Image Rent A Car because we had a Free Gas coupon from their Google Coupons. I went to Travelocity dot com and SideStep and Kayak also and checked prices of other car rental companies. After that search I booked the car through Image Rent A Car 's website. For your information that is www.imagerentacar dot com The website is very easy to navigate. I did, though, end up with 3 reservations because the first one didn't show up and neither did the second. When I saw that I had 3 reservations I had to go back and cancel the first two which took some time. I did this all online. I read another review that said Image Rent A Car charged for a second driver. In my experience this did not happen. There was no charge for both my husband and myself to drive the car. We took the Holiday inn Hotel shuttle bus from the airport to Image Rent A Car . Coming from the baggage claim area at the airport in New York, Image Rent A Car's shuttle bus was the farthest one from the baggage claim area. That was a bit inconvenient because of the luggage we were dragging and the same was true on return. We weren't dropped off or pickup up in front of the baggage claim area In summary, my experience with Image Rent A was a positive one. The price was fantastic and although there were a couple of minor issues I would recommend them to you.

Searching for a car rental in New York recently brought me back to a company I had not used in a while. My usual car renting partners are Enterprise and Dollar, and I won’t normally switch to another company unless a good deal catches my eye or some other compelling reason convinces me to switch. This was the case over Thanksgiving Day weekend when I needed a one- way car rental and quickly discovered that most car rental companies in my area did not offer them. But one company did and it earned my business. That company is. I rented a Toyota Avalon from Image rent a car and dropped the car at MacArthur ISP Airport in Long Island New York ( that's one hour away) at no additional charge. My customer service experience with Image was a good one and I was especially impressed by the helpfulness of one specific Image staff member ( Ann Howland). I went to the counter and presented my e-mail confirmation printout to the rep. She looked it over, asked for my driver’s license and credit card, and asked what make of car I would like. She then gave me the lot location and sent me on my way. By accident, I walked over to an area where I thought I would find the cars. I could see the red Image Car Rental sign and assumed I was headed in the right direction. Once I got there, I realized that this was the Recommended ? definitely Will. This is the Car Rental in New York For ME !!!

My job includes regularly visiting customers throughout the country. Until now, I've relied on a laborious process involving guesswork and reading maps to find my way. On occasions when I've been particularly ambitious, I've mapped out my planned route in advance and used Yahoo! Maps to navigate from site to site. In New York city its no fun especially if you traveling in Queens New York, That's the worse. That all changed when I began using Image? TmTom ONE Navigation unit on my most recent trip. Image bills this option as their In Car Navigation System. Available for only $10 per day, this marvel increased my productivity by no less than 20%. I no longer had to double back because I missed a highway exit or pull a U-turn because I was in the far right lane while the street I wanted to turn on came up fast on the left. Using Never Lost, I found over three dozen locations in three days with absolutely no problems. The bottom line is that you should strongly consider using one of these units if you are traveling to more than one or two destinations when you rent a car. Image Rent a Car Really cares abut your safety and time !

I just got back from a business trip to New York NYC and was pleasantly surprised at the people working at the Image Rent A Car counter and car return. They gave me an upgrade, no extra charge, and the woman who checked the returned car was pleasant and actually told me to have a nice trip home. I've used Image Car Rental in New York when my car was in the body shop and I found their customer service to be great, and the price was reasonable. While I had the car rental, a scrawl climbed on tree under my hood, and got stuck in the fan belt. I had to call animal control and eventually had to cut the belt. Image Rent A Car had no problem picking up the expense of having the belt replaced, which was a nice relief. However, I don't think the cat was feeling too good for the few remaining hours of its life. I've rented from Image Car Rental several times. Every time I've rented from them, I've received exceptionally friendly service. The rates have always been reasonable, if not downright cheap. The last time I rented at JFK airport, I received a free upgrade at the counter without a coupon or requesting one. I don't plan on using another rental car company. What’s not to like about new customer-friendly features, a nicer design and faster load times? Sure, fixing the errors is important, but I have no doubt that a programming team is working on them now. To make the experience even more customer-friendly, there are relevant telephone numbers posted throughout various sections of the site. Overall, my experience with the web site for IMAGE Rent A Car was fairly positive. The response time was very quick. Other sites I used while pricing my car rental needs take a lot more time to calculate different options. Image had a better flow than the others when it came to relevancy. It is fairly easy to navigate through the website. You have several options listed on the right hand part of the page, to make an inquiry about a reservation. There are a few promotional messages cluttering on top of the of the screen, but some of them are actually interesting, and could be pertinent to your renting needs. Across the top of the site are tabs to link you to a travel guide, detailed information about New York Hotels Parks and other accommodations etc. I did have some mixed results trying to apply some of the promotional codes I had, but at the end of the day, ended up finding a better rate on Images' web site than I did on any other car rental site (for this particular instance with the particular coupons I had...your experience might vary). This review only focuses on the process of making the reservation and checking it afterwards to make sure it processed properly. I will post a review of the actual car rental experience on Image Rent A Car entry when the time comes. Overall, a good experience, not perfect, but it seemed to get the job done, and that is good enough for me. Recommended: Yes

As I'm price sensitive, I thought Image Car Rental would be too expensive for me but then I found that I can get a good discount deal with Image Car Rental from my bank. We used Image Car Rental twice so far, once in Queens New York and the other was in New York City, NY. I registered to be a member of the IMAGE Prestige Club as it's free and we get the Car faster. This is great because we usually will reach the car rental area in the big shuttle bus so there will always be about 15 - 20 people at one time. In addition, as a member, I have my car preference online and their system try to get a match for me. When I compared other vehicles with other rental companies, I noticed that Image Car Rental has a CD player in all its classes (yes, that includes their economy). Their choices of cars were impressive too. My preference was a Toyota's Nissan BMW HUMMER Mercedes Benz Range Rover and if I'm not mistaken, they are the only company that has this brand. From these two points, I think that they have good value for the price.

I've only rented twice from Image Rent A Car, but both times were excellent experiences. They charged me exactly what they said they would, and their pick-up and drop-off procedure was very efficient. Their rates are lower than other companies, and I think the pluses are worth it. The last time I booked, in September 2006, I needed a compact car for 6 days in Boston. I checked rates for both Image Rent A Car and Enterprise. With taxes, Enterprise was about $229 and Image Rent A Car was about $299. Image Rent A Car was more expensive but I went with them. I chose Image Rent A Car because I did like the treatment I had gotten from them before. Plus, Enterprise would have put a $200 hold on my credit card in addition to the $229, as opposed to a hold of only $50 plus the $279 from Image Rent A Car.

While vacationing in New York City the last October 2006, my husband and I ( Chaviva) rented a car from IMAGE Car Rentals New York in NYC New York. To keep a long story short, I won the trip so all the arrangements were pretty much made for us, keep this in mind. We got off the plane and headed for the area labeled Rental Cars. The location was outside, which was fine, and we sat on a wood bench to wait for the big green bus tof the holiday Inn Hotel take us to the JFK Holiday Inn Lobby office. I'm here to tell you that we didn't wait more than 6 minutes! Literally! The bus driver actually got out of his seat to help us load our luggage and he even smiled! (You don't see that very often anymore, especially in New York City) :-) We kept the car for 3 days and returned it in Kennedy Airport JFK NY. We simple pulled up behind a line of other "returns" and got out to unload. A very friendly lady with a small computer in her hand came over to confirm our information. She entered a few numbers, like mileage and all that, into her unit and said, "Thank you." Again, we're thinking this is too easy! IMAGE Car Rentals New York really did make it very easy for the traveler, professional or not. They were very courteous and friendly. Thank you IMAGE Rent A Car for the great service you gave us last week on Thanksgiving day. We were stranded in JFK Airport in Queens New York with no Car or taxi and IMAGE Came to the rescue. Their driver watched us while we were waiting for the car rental ( one of the majors) to come get us to their office and we waited there for over 30 minute. So we went to IMAGE in the Holiday INN Hotel by the JFK Airport and got a Rav4 2007 for just 50% off the price we were going to pay in the other major car rentals company in Kennedy Airport

Ever since 1996 we rent our cars from Image and this regional car rental company amazed us again and again with their devotion for customer service, excellent fleet, clean cars, Low rates and excellent people. the owner must have lots of fun handling New Yorkers on a daily basis but it seems they are up to the challenge. One time when we rented a Ford Explorer ( Brand New )we were struck by a deer on the highway and Image staff handle our event with lots of care and speed. Paid for our hotel over night and brought us a new car even it was not their faults.

For this 2006 Thanksgiving we rented an IMAGE vehicle at the John F Kennedy JFK International Airport in New York,. I reserved a mid-size vehicle in advance and used my company discount. When placing my reservation I was quoted me a fantastic price on a mid-size car that was 50% plus lower than the other major vehicle rental companies. We were so happy to get such a great deal on a 6 day rental, especially over the holiday weekend. I was told the car would be either a Toyota Corolla or Ford Focus...and that my "FREE upgrade coupon" would definitely be accepted if a full-size car was available and we did . I have rented cars from several companies and since most offer similar cars at similar rates it really comes down to customer service. In this area IMAGE Rent A Car of New York NY has always been top notch with us. We have never had a long wait, never had a problem with our reservation. There were times we needed to extend our reservation at the last minute and there was never a problem with that. One time we had one of their cars break down on us and it was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We have rented from them in 3 different locations in New York JFK Airport LaGuardia and East Hampton and will continue to do so.

We generally drive on most of our trips, so I have only a few experiences of car rentals. Last weekend, however, I flew to New York JFK Airport and rented a car from IMAGE. I had originally reserved a car with them through the internet. This process was quick and easy, and I even used a coupon to get a discount. I took the shuttle bus from New York JFK airport (only had to wait about 3 minutes for the bus) to the IMAGE Holiday INN Hotel lot. The counter person was so pleasant, and the process went very quickly. I had forgotten my coupon, and she just said to bring it when I brought back the car. (more on that later) She gave me the necessary paper to take into Canada, and we were off. Just a sample trip we took to New York using Image Car Rentals in NYC service for our Rental car needs. We Rented a car from Image and this how it went. This is how an online renting experience should go. My total online time ? from entry to exit ? was under seven minutes. I first went to their Before You Rent section. This presented some overall company data, details about promotions, a brief description of the roadside assistance, data on renting locations, and similar information. Being somewhat familiar with IMAGE, I quickly moved on. The Get A Quote . . . Reserve A Car portion was the real engine. This allowed me to choose a particular vehicle, amenities, pick-up and drop-off location, etc. The drop-down menu options made selection nearly foolproof. [Be sure to check out the various pricing options. IMAGE gives discounts for AAA, AARP, and a host of other affiliations.] Up to this point I did not have to enter any credit card information. Once I was ready to confirm, then I simply entered my credit card number and expiration date. I even got one last chance to ensure everything was correct before I entered the submit button. Within minutes I received a confirmation email. This listed the Confirmation Number and very clear instructions on how I could modify or cancel the reservation. Rented the Toyota Sienna 2007 from Image Rent A Car for 3 weeks and enjoyed the great service of renting a car from real professional car rental agency in New York. All of my friend complained on the other guys and always come back upset on several diffident issues, but when they started to rent a car by Image they immediately notice the difference. I Rented the 2007 BMW 650i Convertible this Weekend. The car was awesome, Powerful, Brand New and Real sweet. We paid 1300.00 for the 3 day weekend, and it was worth every penny. With a family of 5 and living on a budget, we don't travel as often as we would like. We usually only get to take a trip once every 2 years or so. So, when we do plan one, it is a big deal and a lot of work. We try to squeeze in as many visits to as many relatives and friends as possible. Renting a car is the cheapest and most logical choice for vacationing. If you check into airplane tickets for a family of 2 adults and 8 children, round-trip airfare alone is over $2000. Train or bus tickets are usually over $100 a piece and if it is a long trip, you have to sleep in a room no bigger than a closet or, worse yet, in your seat. Those situations are ones that I try to avoid with children. So, I suggest checking into the cost of a rental car. Recently, I did just that. My family, along with my sister and her son, needed to travel 1500 each direction to attend a wedding. I called several car rental agencies and wrote down many price quotes. Many rental agencies would not let us drive beyond the 3 states that surround New York and some wouldn't even allow us to leave the state. I was able to find 2 agencies (in my area) that would allow us unlimited mileage, Hertz and IMAGE. I spent quite some time with each agency on the phone asking questions and finally decided on IMAGE. With IMAGE, I was given an in-city discount* since I resided here and a clean 15 passenger vehicle that was only a year old. The people I dealt with at IMAGE were extremely helpful and courteous. The total cost was less than $950 for 10 days. For 15 people, traveling to Northern New Jersey from New York, that is an incredible deal! I highly recommend IMAGE. They have many offices nation wide to assure reliability in the case of a breakdown. The people are polite and the vehicles are clean and newer. "There are many rent-a-car places available in NYC and I tried most of them. However, they don't really work too well with your schedule. Car selection is limited, exterior is scarred with scratches and interior is studded with burns and stains. Definitely not getting the most for your money.
